The Festival of Trees is an annual holiday celebration, decorated by Edmonton’s community spirit and philanthropic passion.
Now in its 35th year, the University Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees is firmly established as Edmonton’s signature kick-off to the holiday season — and the flagship fundraising, and friend-raising, event for the University Hospital Foundation.
From traditional to designer, from exotic to whimsical, the Festival of Trees showcases more than 200 innovative trees and Christmas displays.
The displays are arranged by theme or colour into pods that allow easy viewing as you stroll through our Christmas wonderland. Sparkling lights, elegant decorations, avant-garde designs.
But the Festival of Trees is more than just trees! The Festival is adorned by entertainment of all types. From school choirs and dance groups, to senior groups and big bands – entertainers add to the excitement of the Festival.While you are here experiencing the dazzling display, close to 100 community groups will put on heart-warming live performances.
And it doesn’t stop there! Gingerbread houses, cakes, shopping, food, and so much more!
